I just recently purchased a new mgw short thow shifter and they have changed their design a bit. The guy called me on the phone to let me know that he dropped the shaft about a quarter of an inch and he made a new handle. It is gold and he said that it has the reach of the red handle and the shortness of the blue handle. Anyways just letting you all know on the changes made the the shifter. I really like it and think it is a nice shifter.

yeah i think thats the one i got, cause my shifter was supposed to be red but i got this orangish/goldish color instead. either way i love my mgw.
