low speed noise
I have an 98 mustang GT the only mod being 4:10 gears(done a couple of years ago no problems).
Lately I've been hearing a mettalic sounding grinding type noise(almost like a bad wheel bearing) when the car slow to below 5 mph.
The noise is there no matter what, clutch in, clutch out, in gear, in neutral, forward or backward.
I cant really isolate where the noise is comming from, it seems like it's comming from the tranny, but other times I think it might be toward the back or the wheels. Not very helpful that I know.
IF this sound familer and you have any good diagnostics I should do to figure out what/where the problem is that would be great. Thanks,
Don
