No you are right it doesn't sound good. It is loud but has a really bad no tone sound.

I had to look twice there, then noticed it is a catted h. What is the tone like with a catted h pipe? I had lm1's, it was too loud, but it didn't even sound good, all it was, was loud. I couldn't imagine running with LT's too. yeesh.

^^^ Yeah the only reason i run a catted pipe is because of these mufflers. The tone is nice and deep, but still extremely loud. The long tubes made it even deeper and louder overall.

Did you run the LM 1's with your o/r h?

^ yeah, I did run 1's, but that was just nasty and very loud. I mean it was a ticket waiting to happen, plus, I didn't like it at all. Switched to 2's and together it is just where I like it. Once I finish my exhaust, I will be going back to 1's since I will be getting a catted x with the lt's.

I agree with everybody else about the sound of your exhaust. Don't forget, living in California it's illegal to have long tubes or no cats (must have 4 cats on our cars, 2 per side).

iv alrdy been running for about 2 months catless, and mine has 6 cats total, 3 on each side. cops around where i live just kinda shake their head at me, but i havent been pulled for em yet, probably becuase i tiptoe around em i just swap em in for smokg and i just got mine so im not due for awhile. thanks for the replies fellas

Just be sure, when and if you get pulled over for something to shut your engine off. No need for a bored CHP officer to catch a whiff of that exhaust. If you (or myself for that matter) gets busted for illegal mods, better hope it's a "fix it" ticket; not entirely sure but I think they can impound your car if they wanna be a dick about it.

Plus, shutting the car down helps put the officer at ease, same goes for putting the windows down and keeping your hands on the wheel.
