Default Wheel Bearings

Only 46k miles and already had to replace left side wheel bearing. Now right side is making noise. Seems early for these to go. Or are these factory wheel bearings junk?

Just another one of those parts that sometimes lasts 20 years, sometimes only 20,000 miles; not always any real rhyme or reason why. 83K on mine and no problems.
