Default help im stumped!

ok so heres my problem.

1998 mustang gt. no upgrades. dirving on the freeway volt gauge in car drops and i lose all power. tow it home and let it sit overnight, starts up and has no problems. driving on freeway and it loses all power. no steering brakes or accelation. went to ford and replaced fule pump, filter and cleaned out gas tank. got it back and it work for about a month and a half. a week a go i am on the freeway and it loses all power, volt gauge dropped all thw to red and i had no acceleration. back to ford and was told bad alternator and bad battery. brand new alt and batt as of today. final problem : battery light is on in the dash also my battery gauge is low, normally is sits in the middle but it is sitting at the n in normal. should i be worried about it dying again? i dont know what else to check.
help

thanks ahead of time

check all of your connection. Alt may be bad even though it is a new one. . and yea i think it might die out on you again if the voltage is that low. have you put a volt meter to it yet, if so what is it reading?

My car never died on me yet and when i got the motor built the guy said my alt wasnt charging to great for some reason so he gave me an extra one jic this one crapped out. so idk?
