he uses the factory style suspension with coil springs mounted between the body and a arm. My coilovers don't squeak. They are a set of upr. Did you happen to tighten the a arms too tight? Mine squeaked when I jack it up on day and noticed that they were squeaking.

Lube up everything, WD-40 will fix it in the short term but a silicone style lube is probably a better choice.

The threads on the top hat should be lubed (for lack of better description) or they will squeek, and bushings need lube as well.

Unfortunately that's just part of the fun... My car makes all sorts of weird sounds... and I don't even have a radio to try to turn up to cover them.

well as weird as it is when i went to find out what exactly is causing the noise it is no longer there. im positive it had to do with the coil overs but it worked themselves out somehow lol.

my coilovers are loud as hell. road noise increased 100 fold (there's no rubber at all really) the only thing to absorb noise is the poly bushings in the a-arms. i have a full QA1 kit w/ MMS C/C plates.

i also have a problem where at full turn, the spring collides with the strut tower, outboard inside wall. probably going to have to take an impact hammer and "roll" the lip that it hits.

i noticed a ton of vibrations now too, so my next 2 upgrades, are going to be FL SFC's (havent got em done yet as i only recently found a competent person to weld them) and as mentioned, a strut tower brace.

good info on the silicone lube + the losening of the a-arms. i'll have to try that and see if it helps any.

im contemplating replacing the QA1's with a set of koni's + MMS coilover kit, as thats what i'll be running in the back as well soon.

yea i have MMS cc plates too.. i also have the problem at full turn. im not sure whats hitting but it actually slows my car down when it hits. i just avoid going full turn and there are no problems haha.

noise is still gone by the way.
