Default Turbo Help

I have found a GT35R turbo on the net and am wondering if a rear-mount would be the easiest way to go. I'm not looking for crazy boost or crazy power, just a good conservative turbo setup that won't blow the heads off. Also with pulling probably 10 or so pounds of boost require me to upgrade from the stock fuel system? This is my daily driver so i don't want to kill fuel mileage or much reliability, just running through a list of the pros and cons would help me out a bunch.

If you have a 99-04, then the answer is NO, NO, NO to the remote mount turbo... NO again. That said a front mount is not hard and especially since there are new turbo companies out there who make 2-2500 dollar turbo kits there is no reason not to, front mount is better. 10lbs is a lot of turbo boost for a stock motor, but the power output depends alot on how good your bends are. The cheapo turbo kits are good, but they seem to require more boost to make as much power as say a helion would. Generally youll be looking at 6-8lbs of intercooled turbo boost to make roughly 400 rwhp and 450+ rwtq. You have a relatively small displacement motor, so you want an A/R around .68 on a T70, it should boost quick and max out around 600rwhp. If I were you, I would shoot for 350-375 rwhp and that should make 425+ rwtq (should be around 6lbs of boost) and you can dogg it all day with a conservative tune (make sure its hooked up to pull spark and not full, turbos spool and get away from you quickly)
