im making alright money in Iraq right now as an E3. I think you might make more hazard im not sure though. plus kids and wife and all that factor in. If you dont have any bills you can bank 15-20k either way in 6 months youll have enough to have some fun with the car. good luck over there man.

yeah i don't have a wife or kids, haven't talked to my girlfriend in two weeks so im pretty much single again. (woot woot!!!!)

however from what i understand in certain regions you still get BAH regardless of whether you're married or not. i know us bees who do convoy security rack up quite a bit of bank, thats how a couple of my friends bought brand new silverados, F-150s, and rams...

i think 15-20k would be enough to build a terminator to where i want it.

Yeah I still get BAH withouth any family. If worse comes to worse you can print up a blank lease sheet form online. Then just fill in the blanks like an address. (your parents) who your renting from (your parents) and how much rent is. Then go to any bank pay like $5 for then to noterise it. And bam you have a legal lease. Turn that in for full BAH. Thats what i did before i deployed. It took less then like 20 minutes. And its making me an extra $1100 a month. But your right alot of places you dont have to have a lease for BAH when you go overseas. I just did that for when i was still in country. It sounds like youll have a beast of an engine when you get back

lolololololol the only problem is im excluded from all the navy jokes, ask me what a capstan or a forecastle (pronounced fokesull) is and i couldn't tell you sh*t.

i still have to think about the difference between portside and starboard sometimes.

i would be more offended by dumb jokes than that stuff, problem is for us seabees its true most of the time. we're that kid that everybody likes but doesn't want to adopt, and the navy got the shaft on that one. we make the big navy look good they just don't want to admit it...

we seabees don't go on ships, we have nothing to do with that real navy sh*t... that's why we're more accepted by the Marines than our own branch. we're always out with Marines.

the USMC wanted to get us transferred out of the Navy and into the corps but the big navy decided to be a bunch of d*cks about it...
