Default trans swap

I have a 99 GT and plan on rebuilding the motor and replacing the transmission along with probably an s/c futher down the road. I believe my 99 has the t45? i want to replace it with the tko 600. Is this a direct replacement? any other things needed to be swapped as well? thanks in advance

Should be a pretty straightforward replacement.

Things to keep in mind while doing research:

-Driveshaft length
-Input shaft (10 or 26)
-tko 600 have removable bellhousing so look into a scattershield
-Make sure of clutch and flywheel size
-6/8 bolt?
