Diablo Predator Opinions
I just bought a 99 GT Vert and was wondering what you guys thought of the Diablo Predator tune. I was looking for a little more power and want to know if it is worth the money. The only mod I have currently is a K&N aircharger system. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

That's enough for me right there. Traction control doesn't make you burn out more or give you crappier launches. What it does is cut power if it senses your wheels slipping. This is all well and good on wet pavement, but you don't want the computer cutting power from you when you're trying to peel out.
The predator was worth it to me for the following reasons:
1. Nice tune
2. Corrected the speedometer for my gears
3. Firmed up my shift points (I have an auto)
4. Turned TC and speed limiter off
5. Can use it to scan codes on any OBDII-compliant vehicle

Yes the predator will work great for what you are looking for. I prefer SCT but the predator will do everything that you need. We give mustang forums members discounts so if you need a predator or an X-calibrator give me a call or e-mail we have them in stock. Either way your car will be faster and more comfortable to drive.

Stupid question alert.....
Can't you turn traction control off manually (button) when you start your car? I know it defaults back when you turn it off, but is this just for the convenience? I'd almost rather have it at my controls rather than have to go through the tune if it's raining out.
