Aren't all the generic batteries, like Autozone or Wal-Mart, probably made by the same manufacturer anyway? I've never come across or heard of a particular brand that is consistently crappy. Hate to dog on Optima, but I know someone who bought one a few years back and replaced it twice within about three months (under warranty, of course) before going back to a Duralast. I still want an Optima anyway, but I'm a label *****.
