I do not remember where it went, so I figured if I know what it is, I'd be able to reattach it
It was connected to a wire harness that comes of battery terminal. And all I know is that it goes on the driver side of the engine.

I took a quick look under the hood of my car, didn't see that part anywhere. So I dunno, maybe somebody else can chime in on this one.

It is not connected to battery terminal, my bet, rather this little wire. Hope someone knows.

Ugh this makes me dread putting my car back together lol. Looks like the crankshaft sensor form the bottom of the timing cover but I don't think it was that long.

The plug you are holding should go to the Cam sensor that is behind the Power steering Res. That sensor cold also be the Cam sensor but it looks really long to me so I'm not sure

the cam sensor behind power steering reservoir is in place, so that can't be it. It is not crankshaft position sensor either, because that one is different from pic one and also is connected.
The odd thing is - when I went to napa online and searched for "sensor" nothing that looks similar to pic1 came out. I really have no clue, and out of options. Will take a look around timing cover, see if I missed anything...
Thanks for the input, guys.

Edit: The connector from pic2 goes to part in pic1 and if it helps, the connector runs off a wire that runs underneath the battery compartment on drivers side.
