My 2000 Mustang GT wont run it just turns over and the thief light blinks

What else is going on with the car? Do you have enough gas in the tank? Does it idle at all? Mileage? How old is the battery? Ever have the spark plugs changed?

yeah has fuel and the battery is good and was running fine went to start it up and all is does it turn over but will not run and the thief light blinks and the mileage wont show up its a new motor ive had it in for about 7 months now has about 4000 miles on it now

Sounds like a PATS thing. Either there's something wrong with your key's chip, or more likely something's up with your ECU that's not allowing it to recognize your key. May have to get it in to a dealer to get it fixed. There was a PATS sticky on here about a month and a half ago, if you search it up you should find some useful info.
