my V6 spins with khumo ecstas so idk how ur doing it with a GT

He has plenty of tire. Maybe he has too much air in the tires? Maybe the tires are bald? Maybe its cold where he lives, causing him to spin. Or maybe he just flat out smashes the gas from a dead stop and expects it to hook all the way through 3rd. IDK!

Alright. well since my car already has an lsd. lol. ive opted to go with drag tires. since ive already made one mistake buying crappy tires, does anyone have any good recomendations for really sticky tires that are fairly cheap?

are you trying to floor it from a stop and NOT SPIN at all? Because that's not really a realistic goal.

Nitto 555Rs Tire Rack or Lethal Perfomance. When the tread gets below 50% be a little more careful in the rain.
If you havent driven a DR in the rain take it easy and find at what point you'll lose control before you go mashing it in a down pour at 65mph or flying through a puddle at 35 around a turn.

As a general rule of thumb, you should assume your car has "no real control" in the rain with any tire.... at least that's how you should drive any RWD car with power in the rain. Just my .02. Confidence in the rain = disaster.
