a carbon fiber drive shaft????? I've NEVER seen one. wouldn't the carbon fiber melt under severe driving temperatures????

I have a carbon fiber muffler on my ninja motorcycle, and when I bought it they told me not to run at too high of an rpm for too long, because the carbon fiber would melt.

Not to mention that carbon fiber would be pretty damn weak compared to aluminum or stock. I'm not sure what you're talking about. If you have seen one please post the website. Cause id love to see it.

i bet he had that idea implanted from gran turismo. really, the stocker is good enough...but if not that, go with a ford racing aluminum one. but its really not that great a mod...except for weight saving.

Really guys, a carbon fiber drivshaft is extremely strong and very light....There was an article about them in 5.0 Mustang a long time ago.....research it, you'll be amazed!!!!

I haven't heard about the carbon fiber driveshaft but I know the FRPP aluminum reduces the drivetrain loss (power going from the flywheel to the rear wheels) quite significantly

Please don't waste your money on an carbon fiber driveshaft. I think they cost around 1000 dollars if not more (very bad price to results ratio). You can get the aluminum one for under 200, that would be a good idea. I'm thinking about doing aluminum myself. IMO I think doing carbon fiber would be like buying a bassani x pipe. So overpriced when you could persay get someone to weld you one or get an off brand for half the price. Boom same results. It's like buying Sony prodcuts. You pay a bit more for the name brand.
