Question 99 mustang fuel pump test question

Hi Forum.
Quick question

My 99 Mustang wont start but will crank.
I did a few test and there is no fuel in fuel rail (pressed the vavle on fuel rail nothing sprayed out)

So my guess is there is a problem with CCRM or FPDM or just a bad fuel pump.

The next test I will perform im hopping will tell me if indeed its the fuel pump but I want to make sure im correct.

If I put a multimeter on the interia switch (+) and touch metal (-) in trunk and if its shows 12Volts then that means indeed my fuel pump is bad and CCRM and FPDM are good correct?

Because i believe thats the last point to check where it goes right to the fuel pump from interia switch.

PS alots of problem on forum with not starting mustangs lately but not my year

Thanks for any info

Sounds like the actual fuel pump. Try having someone listen to see if it comes on when you turn the key one position before cranking. Have someone hammer on the fuel tank while cranking. If it starts you have a bad pump.
