hey guys i have an 04 gt and i just got my sct tuner with a preloaded 93 oct tune and i downloaded the tune and my car drives a lot better but my check engine light is still on and i was wondering if i can use the tuner to turn it off? thanks.

uh, can you check the code with it? tell us what it is? that would be helpful.

its because i dont have any cats sry i should have metioned that. so i need to have my rear o2 sensors turned off.

i dont think i can do it myself with the tuner. i heard it has to be pre programed into the tune is that correct?

Many newer tuners will not allow the rear O2 sensors to be disabled, mostly because it's a violation of Federal law.

You can however make your own MIL eliminators for about $5, it's still a violation of Federal law to have no cats and use them--you decide how virtuous you wish to be...

i know its a violation of federal law but people do it anyway. i bought my tuner from americanmuscle.com i think im ganna call them and see if they will send me a new tune.
