Default Need Help Please...Car wont stay running..

I tried to search for this but couldnt find anything exactly like it. My car turns on then dies automatically unless i hold down the gas then it will stay on as long as i dont let off it. My car is standard, im guessing fuel pump but am not sure since it stays on as long as im pressing the gas. Please let me know what you'll think. I need to get this fixed by this weekend. Thanks in advance... Oh my car is an 01 GT...

Fuel filter never hurts to be changed with all the crappy gas either

Same thing just happened to me. Has been on and off, inconsistent. Finally got to the point where it just would start and only run if i kept my foot on the throttle. Got myself a new IAC valve for $53 and she starts up better than EVER.

DONT try to clean the MAF.. it is very very fragile and a pain to have to replace.
