Tire Pressure
 

Hi guyz i have stock 2001 GT premium with stock tires. On tires it says MAX LOAD 50 PSI, does that mean the air pressure needs to be at 50 psi when I fill it up with air ? I checked the air pressure in tires for first time and all wheels have about 35 PSI. Should I fill em up until it reach 50 psi or leave them as is.

NO...

That is the maximum pressure to which they should ever be inflated--you need to use the pressure shown on the door plate, which IIRC is 35 psi...

I used to run between 32-35 psi on my stockers. I'd just keep them where they're at.

wow I didnt know that. Thank you so much you guyz. Ill look at the door pannel and see what it says.

Tires will pick up about 8~10 PSI going from cold to hot after several hours of driving.
