Default Squealing, ****, and Clutch!!

Whenever I start up my car after it has rained or if it is misty out, my power steering will not be there for a few seconds, and then the belt will squeal underneath the hood, and the power steering returns. This happens nearly every time it rains... is this a belt issue? Or is this a pully issue?

Also, the headlight **** for my car is very faded and slightly damaged, I have a 2000 GT. Where (besides a junkyard) is the cheapest place to find one?

Lastly, my clutch is horribly high, tight, and catches high. I am fed up with it. I installed a stock clutch cable about 2,000 miles ago by myself, and the clutch has felt believe it or not lighter than it was before, but rests VERY high.... do all of you guys' clutches sit high? I drove my friends STI WRX and his is basically on the floor. My main concern though... is how there is basically this |---------------------| much room from the top of the clutch pedal where the clutch finally engages... it is RIDICULOUS... SO BAD. What will fix this? Firewall adjuster? Is this easy to install? Do they usually break? Who has one that is satisfied with it that can recommend?

You are probably getting water on the belt and it's causing that issue. I spilled antifreeze on mine and it did the same thing. Check www.latemodelrestoration.com for the ****. As for the clutch, pull up on the clutch pedal, it will set the adjuster and it should fix it.

It happens every time! I don't see why it should squeal and then go away, it's very annoying! Why is my power steering cutting out during this? I want this problem to cease, makes me look like I am driving a car with problems.

Also... I have tried many, many, many times to adjust it that way, and it does not do anything at all.

You need a new belt. You can get replacement ***** at a Ford dealership (that's where I got mine). I thought my clutch engaged a little high as well but after three years I've gotten used to it.
