Doing PI swap on my 98?
So im about to make a deal with a guy who's partting out his 99 gt on a PI and intake.
He can sell me full pi and intake swap for 250 dollars.
Since im new to 4.6's i was wondering what are all the parts i should recieve???
Will that so called swap fit on my 98gt?? Also, are 4.6's dohc or sohc?
Any input is appreciated.

hey bro if its just a 99 mustang gt then it should be a 2v 4.6 sohc mustang just like ours. i have a 98 gt with a full pi swap and 250 for all the parts is a f****** steal. Youll need the heads and intake and cams obviously, intake gaskets, alternator bracket, front timing cover and some other miscallaneous things. Its not to bad just takes some time. Do some research on it and im sure you will find everything you need! good luck!
ps there is a 4.6 dohc but those are typically the cobras

well my last dyno numbers were 267 rwhp and 290 rwtq thats all motor and i still dont have long tube headers, a dyno tune, stock t/b and stock plenum. After my long tubes and vt stage 2 cams ill be making over 300 to the rear all day. Now i also do have nitrous and when i spray her she makes well above 350 and over 400 rwtq you might as well save up for some nice cams while your right there thats another20-30 rwhp in it self!
