when i say exhaust, i mean a headers-midpipe-catback

and yes, 35 hp is very much achievable with a good set up

Thanks everone! Any suggestions on an exhaust brand? Flowmaster? Borla? Would this include everything behind the cats or should I look for a system with everything? Does an X pipe work better then a H one? The car is a five speed so will a chip or programer do much? If so any particular brand?

Thanks again!

you are going to get a lot of opinions on the exhaust and programmer types. what sound are you looking for?? Loud, raspy, bassy,........ etc etc etc.

I have magnaflow everything and love the way it sounds. my personal pref. I have heard some others that sound great but could not begin to tell you who they were made by.

As for the tuner, i went with the predator from diablo sports.

no power difference between x and h's. h's tend to be a bit lower tone then x's.

actually there will be a small power diference between them both, the h pipe will b 1-2 rwhp less then an x

but H will be a lil lower tone

i would go with some LT headers

and

magnaflow cated X

and

magnaflow or flowmaster catback

no it wont hurt it, it wont get the gains like u would by having a poweradder but it wont hurt it. u will get better throttle responce and prolly like 5hp.

Problem is I can't make it too loud as it's technically the wife's daily driver. (But I drive it at night and on weekends...) Although I think I would like a little more low end rumble, but not too much in the middle? Suggestions? Then I'm thinking a 70mm TB and CAI and some gears? What ratio would be good and still do fine on the freeway?

Thanks!
