TC OFF button doesn't turn on after STS install
I installed my MGW a while ago, but after I plugged everything back in, the light on the TC button doesn't light up even after I push it to turn off TC. The car still has TC, it's just that I have to kind of guess if it's on or not....or spin a tire and find out that way.
Did I mess something up on the connection? Should I remove the stuff to get access to the plug and just clean it out or something?

You could try that, but my guess is the bulb in the switch is burnt out. I don't think they're replaceable, you may need to get a new switch. Now, my TC doesn't work (due to ABS issue) so I'm a little unsure, but, doesn't your car have a second TC indicator light in the instrument cluster in that row of idiot lights at the bottom? Mine does (green light, looks like a spinning tire), shouldn't it also light up to indicate if your TC is on?

My car has that second light, but it only lights up when the TC is "doing its thing" (like when I try to nail it in the rain from a dead stop). If yours stays lit when it's turned off or on, it's probably another thing that Ford changed when they gave the Mustang a little makeover in 2001.
