Default Rear

If i installed a new forged engine with a F1 procharger and did nothing to the rear would the rear hold up. I am courious if the rear will hold up with 20 pounds of boost. Thanks

Probably not for long with sticky tires.

I agree if you're going to be running at the track. Street driving (I know 20 psi is considered a lot for the street) I think it would be good for a while if you don't launch from a stop.

Differential, 31 spline axles, and whatever ring/pinion ratio you want to run.

Personally, with the amount of power you've been talking about running, I'd have it jigged and trued, axle tubes welded, braced, throw in c-clip eliminators, and though it may or may not be necessary, do a locker style diff. and a set of 33 spline axles. Personally, if you're going to go all out on the motor, go all out on the rest, too. Don't run a 700hp blower motor, plan on spraying it, and try to do it on a stock rear end or trans.
