Default Vert leak: Common problem or just my vert?

Anytime it rains i get a **** load of water leaking into the the back passenger floor board in the back right behind the seat and it gets the carpet soaked! I've tried finding the leak but cant find it. Probably not lookin in the right spots i guess. Is this a common problem or is my vert top just messed up? Any ideas on how to fix it?

Thanks,
Spencer

I've got a 99 vert that is leaking. I found the problem on mine though. It was a little hard to find. I basically had to put the top about half way up and inspected it real close. It has a small hole (1/8th inch) where the apron glass is mounted on, about a 1" to 1.5" from the edge when the top is up. It's pretty hidden where it's at. I believe that this is a common problem, according to the shop I'm having replace it.

It's a common problem on 10-year old convertibles...

The only function for the top on my conv.fox-body 5.0 was to keep the sun off my head..

I have a leak at the seal of rear plastic window. I don't think I'll fix it though as I don't think she'll ever see rain again.

It seems to be a relatively common problem.

I don't have any leaks.......yet. My 88 vert had several leaks after 10 years, ive been a lot more conscious about taking good care of the top on this car, not to mention it is much better constructed. If you need any patchwork done or anything pertaining to a back window or real panel problems, take it to boat vinyl repair shop, it may save you hundreds like it did for me!
