Everyone I know who's owned a SPEC has had issues. Hard pedal, chatter, snapping clutch cables (aftermarket ones at that as well). I've had Centerforce Dual Frictions in all my Mustangs and I love them. Do what you feel is right but I recommend the Centerforces for sure...

this is what i have. it is a spec stage 2 clutch for 99-early 01 models. with the t-45 transmission. the pedal is stiff as a mother fuqker but it grips awesome

This is why we stopped carrying them years ago.

the pedal is stiff as a mother fuqker but it grips awesome
You will have normal pedal effort with our options and plenty of grip.
