Default Engine swap vs PI swap?

Lately I've been going back and forth between a PI swap or just putting a Mark VIII in my 96 GT. What do you guys suggest? Right now, the car is stock. I'll be getting a new exhaust and gears at some point, with the long term goal of some sort of forced induction.

i am curious about thoughts on this as well i have the pi head and motor swap already but also have a markviii motor sitting at the house and headers to go with it but am not sure if the swap is worth it, so to expand on his question is the mark swap really worth it or are the pi heads with cams a better route for na and f/i motors both.

personally i would swap in the mark viii motor. as they r a 4v engine as opposed to your 2v. id much rather supercharge a 4v than a 2v. sit down and do the math it will cost more to swap the engine but will net you more power in the long run.
