Question What's good tread??

Hey guys im just about to sell my Yokohama Summer Tires (AVS ES100's) and I was wondering whats a good amount of tread to have on them?? I know it's considerably less than other types, but measurement wise how much is pretty good?

You are selling tires and you want to tell the buyer how much life is left?

yea, i know summer tires always have less tread than an all season tires, but how do u measure how much is left percentage wise on summer tires?

Well, I would look up the model of tire on manufacturers website and do the math.

In your case, those tires came with 10/32" tread and is really the standard for all street tires (my dead "R" rated tires started at 6/32"). Take a small thin stick and put it between the treads in several locations and measure how deep it is. Take an average between depths and advertise the tires with that much tread left

Or use a quarter, penny or dime, inserted into the tread, take pics to measure/ guesstimate for the buyer....
