Question Injector/hp question

Can anyone please help me....
1998 GT, stock 19lb injectors. Swap to PI ported head + intake. Bolt on's include cold air intake, under drive pulleys.
Can anyone tell me if they think i'll be making enough hp to max out the stock injectors? I was thinking I may have to upgrade to 24lbs. I do not want to take the chance on any detonation.

PORTED heads? or plain PI heads? if you were talking about just plain PI heads then 19lbs will be fine. if your doing ported heads i'd consider putting some 24's or better in since you'll be maxing the 19's out if you do any other mods (like longtubes or cams).

So, you have "ported" PI heads, and intake, but NPI cams... or what??? What other mods do you have? Depending on what you actually have here, you could be riding the razors edge with the 19's. You need to be a little more specific.

I got a set of ported heads with the cams and intake from a speed shop here in town (there installed now). They are from an 04. No other mods done yet. Perhaps in the future I may go to stage 1 cams or put on an aftermarket air intake, but for now thats it. I'm nearly finished the car and have a shop in town that's going to perform the tune. But I've been reading that 300hp at the motor is about the max for the stock 19lb injectors. I just wanted to see if that hp ratio is correct and if so what would you guess the hp will be after these mods.

Thanks

So, no headers, udp's, tb/plenum, ect? If not i'm guessing you'll be okay. Otherwise you're probably pushing it.

So would 30lb be overkill? And does it even matter if there too big? As long as there not too small I should be okay right?
