Are you asking how much you can push it without going to the ragged edge?

i'm confused by your question, what do you mean by not pushing them to the limit? stock GT rods will break before you have problems with the heads or cams.

SALEEN_TIME: YOu hav a forged bottom end & I know you are going turbo.....so I get why you are asking. I woudl recommend getting the heads/casm combo if your going that route, jus casue you want to do it right the first time around!

Normally people upgrade teh heads/cams first, then teh lower end and FI.

I normally only hear peopole talking about the bottom end capabilities....
From what I hear teh stock bottom end can handle 400-425 rwhp before the rods/pistons letting go. !? NOT SURE!?

Yea thats what i wanted to know. definitly not worried about my bottom end taking 600-700 hp im just trying to decide if i should take the money I have now and order my turbo or wait on it for a little longer and get my heads and cams done.

My intake alone is $1150 which was a nice chunk of change for a intake manilfod. "P-51 port matched and powder coated". And to the people that dont my car the bottom end is a DSS Racing super pro-mod Block. It will take 1000hp. Didnt want to waste my time with a stock motor.

if you have the money get all three done. all new cams and heads will do is net you higher hp compared to stock heads and cams. if you want to run higher rps ur going to need stonger springs. this is a weird questiong because all aftermarket heads are core stock units ported to flow better they aren't any stonger structurally. i gues i'm confused what ur asking sry for the ramble haha i'm bored in class

Basically to clear everything up, i can do one or the other right now. I just sold my supercharger and im going to be running all motor until i put the turbo on and going from forced induction to none sucks. So If my stock heads and cams can hold 500whp -550whp then I was going to get the turbo on. my car goes into the shop next week to put the new coil over suspension on and take off the supercharger and my exhaust.
