cam and raise rev limiter to 6500 on 2V?

I was looking at camming my engine and raising the rev limiter to 6500. This would raise my boost to nearly 11 at 6500 and RWHP might be over 400. Is this doable with a safe tune or am I just asking for disaster?
Thanks,
FS

i wouldnt raise it passed 6200 personally. If it was my car I would stick to 6000. If you need a tuner I got a xcal for sale, PM if interested. or email via craigbiggio07@aol.com

6500 is too high to rev with a poweradded stock shortblock, 6200 probably ok though

Get the rest of your mods installed and you won't have to worry about raising your limiter for 400RWHP.

if you aint makin it by 6K, you need more mods, not more RPM's.

The 02 -04 S281E Saleens have a 6500 redline on a 2v motor with cams, but you are also getting the entire forged package to go with it. Saleen uses different valve springs as well as an aluminum block. I think it's do-able with the right upgrades.

You would have to have some crazy forged internals along with some hardcore, high-revving springs to support lift.
