Default Wheel help

I promise this will be the lat tread I make about wheels for the track lol. I have just been having a hard time getting the right sizes together. I decided on the Summit Fast Fives 15x8 for the rear and 15x4 for the front. I know I will need a 7/16 spacer for the front. The main problem I'm running into at the moment is with the rear rims. I emailed Summit and Jegs tech support to make sure they would fit and they both told me no because a 15" rim would hit the brakes on my year mustang. Now I know plenty of people running 15" rims from Summit and they don't have this problem. Am I missing something here. The specs for the rear are 15x8 5.5 bs and a 5x4.5 bolt pattern.

Sorry for the abundance of wheel threads lately guys!
