Default Rear end screech sound

It does this high pitched, loud screeching sound when im reversing sometimes. It also does it when im at a dead stop and move forward slowly until i get about 20 mph or so. Any ideas what it could be?

i can't really think of what would make a high pitched screeching sound from the rear end, do you notice any changes (better/worse) when turning at low speeds (i.e. in parking lots). when's the last time the u-joints have been replaced?

as far as i know they havent been replaced. it turns fine except for that sound. i was thinking something with the diff. or the axles.

Dude, a whopping 5 hours since you posted and you insult the forum because no one has a decent idea to provide a worthwhile solution. Nice job.

Maybe it's your car saying GTFO!

How's that for a solution?
