thats right as far as i know, in fact, i dont even think the speedcal would have anything to do with rpms considering that rpms are engine relateed, and speed is tire related
Speed is tranny related. If it was tire related you would never have to recalibrate your speedometer for gears.

obviously its tranny related, i was talking about rpms vs. speed though

your rpms can be right, but your speed off,

tires wont affect your rpms, but they will change your speedometer reading

you are right though, its also transmission oriented
