Sup guys i'm ordering new coil packs for the spark plugs (all 8) and I was wondering do I need to reset anything or is there any procedure I need to follow in installing them ? Or are they just plug and play? Thanks in advance.

Have you bought them already? The only kind I would think about buying are Weapon X as they are not made by the same company that makes all the other COP's

Why are you buying new COPs, have the OEM units failed?

There are people out there pushing 700HP with the stock COPs...

I didn't know that i'm just upgrading everything! I know a'lot of little things count too. But what i did was I made a mistake and pressure washed the engine about 5 months ago and what happened was i covered everything but the COP's *smart* (LMAO) and shorted a couple of them. Not good.....

Just stick 'em in.

All they do is make the plug spark when told to do so--no magic, no special force involved, they are just electrical transformers in which the induced secondary voltage ionises a spark gap when the primary winding power is cut abruptly, and the core's field collapses.

It's a long way from rocket science--the BS surrounding after market COPs is well over hip-deep...
