Default Wont go in gear

I just recently bought this 2000 GT. When I got it I noticed thid gear grinding in high rmps & sometimes second. Then I notice a slite grinding at low rpms in 1st. Well after further investigation my input shaft seal was leaking so I repleaced the clutch, pressure plate, release bearing " A little worn nothing serious " , pilot bearing " witch was shreded ", light wieght flywheel, starter "bindex was hanging up a lil ". As far as the Trans goes I had synchros&bearing put in Now I got the trans in etc and it wont go in gear. Really NEED SOME INPUT HERE. I thought I did it all the right way & now I'm just stuck. also all new seals

It sounds as though the clutch might be dragging.

If you start the car in 1st gear (clutch depressed of course) does the car want to creep forward even though you are holding the clutch down?

If the clutch is dragging then it could be that the cable is too loose, or that the clutch/lever/TOB was not assembled properly...

Does not try to take off but is hard to push while in gear with clutch depressed & car off. Will only shift in and out of gear while car is off. I have adjusted cabel under car and also have an adjustable clutch cable tried adjusting there aswell every wich way possible. I am pretty sure the TOB is on there right I put it on exactly how the old one came off and used a manuel for referance. It does seem like the clutch may be dragging. Is there any other possibilities? Or should I just go ahead and drop the trans and double check TOB. I am about 99.9% sure its on right. Also I noticed the shift fork has a little break on one side but not where cable sits. Could this be the culprit

How much freeplay is in the pedal? There should not more than 1-1/2" pedal movement before you feel the TOB start to press on the clutch spring. Ask someone to depress the pedal while you watch the clutch lever at trhe tranny-see if it is deflecting while attempting to activeate the clutch. Cracks in pressed metal parts are never good...

I am getting a new fork There is little play in pedal and seems to move pretty in synch with clutch fork. I am leaning torwards it being in tranny. I mean it wont go in gear or even grind a little while running. Took all components of and rechecked for any mistakes.
Dropped the trans back off with guy who " Fixed it ". Gonna go from there.
