Default Roush Stage 3 motor swap

I have a 98 Roush stage 3 that has a bit of a window in the #4 piston, I can see the piston pin I also have a 2002 GT motor and transmission. My question is what is different between the two motors in order to swap em? I from what I can find the heads are a little different but will not affect fit and the head gaskets are different and that is it, is that true? I know Im a newbe, and I could really use some help. Thanks.

the 98 has windsor block with non pi heads. the 2002 has romeo block with pi heads. they are basically interchangeable, but they use different pistons. Youll change the compression slightly. and one uses a different timing cover then the other. Just make sure all the gaskets and bolts used are correct

do I need to change the headgaskets as well? I haven't had the heads off either motor yet, don't know if I needed special gaskets for the blower.
