Cutting Ford Racing C Springs

Ive got a set of ford racing c springs on my gt, which came w/the bullet suspension package, but id like to lower the car more. ive heard about ppl cutting their c springs, so i was wondering if anyone could give me any pointers/ measurements i could use in cutting my springs.

please do not cut those springs. sell them and by lowering springs.

I had a buddy who cut his springs on his Firebird and it lowered the back. I wouldnt recommend it but if your **** poor go for it.

Do it the right way or not at all....

Sell them and get REAL lowering springs.

They are right if your going to go to all the trouble of taking them out just buy new ones. If your going to cut them anyways, remember the more you cut off the worse your ride will be. Cut off about a coil and a half with a dremel and reinstall them.. I can't believe I'm telling you this...
