Default New-ish with some questions...

Ive been around here before, but I forgot my log in and what not so i created a new one. Anyways, I have a 96 GT, bought it 5 years ago now, and its just been sitting lately as I got a new car, and well, its winter. Ive been toying with throwing a Vortech on it, and I have some questions.

The car has 110xxx miles on it currently, and the motor has never been touched. The tranny was replaced a few thousand miles ago with a Tremec TKO600, and while I was at it I did the rear end and installed 3.55s.

Im fairly confident that the weak point of this car is the motor, especially with 110k on it, and was curious to get some opinions on how long the motor would last under ~6psi.

Should I rebuild before I supercharge it? or say the hell with it?

I'd do a compression test, and if the rest of the car is in good working order, you should be fine with 6psi.

If I was doing this I would go on and do a PI swap as well. U would get alot better gains with the PI heads.
