quick question about front fender emblems
When I had new front fenders put on my car the body shop guy put my cobra emblems on backward. I need to know how to get them off, I was wondering if they were just double sided tape. I know that there is a small square hold behind the emblem, does that have anything to do with how the emblem comes off? what will I need to get them off and put them back on?
thanks guys.

Use some heat and a plastic "spoon" to get them off. The square on the back is just for centering purposes. double sided tape it the actual adhesive. They make a nice plastic trim panel tool that gets in there without making too much mess of the paint..

Truthfully, I wouldn't do it myself. Most emblems are one time stick deals, you will ruin the adhesive getting the emblem off. So you would have to clean and retape them on, but generally the look like ****. I would take it back to the body shop, point out their mistake and have them do it again for you. You paid to have it done correctly.

Not that I know of. Maybe they do it on purpose to be different, or they just don't realize that they put them on backwards and then just leave them because they don't want to fix them.
I know that I was trying to debadge my Stang, with taking off the fender emblems to see if it was double sided taped or it had pins behind them, which obviously they did have both, there were two small holes behind the badge. So yeah I had to go to the dealership and get another one, 30$ later..
