clint i the tool to compress the pistons if you want to use it or you can rent it at auto zone with a 30 dollar refundable deposit

Well my cars at 88k miles or so and I think I'm still on the factory pads/rotors and I'm worrid I'm just going to be putting new pads on bad rotors.

Do you have channel lock pliers? They work for this.

yea you have to twist the piston i used needle nose pliers on my rears when i changed my pads and that sucked big time

I was just (maybe wrongly) assuming he was doing the front brake pads because they wear more than the rears. But if you're doing the rears they have to be rotated while being compressed like stated but the fronts you can just use channel lock pliers or a c clamp.
