Default Anticipated Gains w/ Mods?

So far, I have the following mods on my 02 GT:
1. K&N FIPK
2. SLP LM II’s
3. SLP High-Flow Catted X
4. FRPP 4.10’s
5. Steeda UD Pulleys
(*I have no idea what RWHP I am at right now – just guessing, I’d say maybe 10 – 15 over stock at the wheels.)

As I compile my ‘wish list’, I’m wondering what kind of ballpark (RWHP) gains I can expect once all is said and done?

Wish List:
6. SLP Long Tube Headers
7. Fox Lake P51 Intake (*includes new fuel rails)
8. Accufab 75mm Throttle Body
9. Steeda 42# Injectors
10. Cams (VT, Crane, etc.)
11. Plasma Ignition Booster
12. NGK Iridium Spark Plugs
*custom tune

I'm not an expert. I will try to be conservative. I'm guessing that you have an automatic tranny.

Okay, stock you have 260 FWHP, or about 210 RWHP stock. Right now, I'd guess you're about 225-230 RWHP. You really need headers to open the exhaust up.

I don't know about teh Fox Lake P51, but I'm not understanding the 42# injectors. With your proposed mods, I can see 24#, maybe 30#, but 42# I think with drown your motor, since I didn't see anything about forced air. Again, I'm not an expert by any stretch, but that's a lot of gas.

I'd recommend 24#s and a 100HP wet shot nitrous. You can go 125, but that's cutting it close on non-forged internals. Ford and KB make s/c set ups with 6 psi and you don't have to install an inter/after cooler unless you want. That's for the 2V motors and should net you 100-110 HP.

Otherwise, those additional mods (not 42#s) could bring in another 25-40 with a good tune. Also consider porting & polishing the heads.

So guys, am I in the ballpark or way off base here?

Haha. Probally atleast 50 hp. The long tube headers are quite a few HP, you should do a throttle body and plenum combo. This will give you probally 5-8 hp. The cams are not going to give you a ton but definetally more. Get roller rockers and new valve springs. And the tune will help you out quite a bit if you do a dyno tune. I'm actually looking at muscle mustangs and fast fords right now (july 2005 issue) and they did the P51 intake swap and they saw 16 extra hp on the dyno. So you might actually be looking at over 50 hp. You should definetally be over 300 RWHP when your done. As for an exact number, I'm sorry I don't know.

If manual now: 245whp
If auto now: 227whp

If manual future: Depending on cams somewhere right over 315whp
If auto future: Depending on cams somewhere around 290whp

And BTW I just read the other post. And he's wrong, you can run up to 9PSI on stock internals on a kenne bell. Also a 125 shot wouldn't hurt anything. Especially if your forging the cams and stuff. But ported and polished heads was a good addition. I forgot about that. And the kenne bell 1.7@9 PSI should get you somewhere around 400 hp on a stock engine with just an exhaust.

I agree 9 psi is fine, but you need the intercooler for that. If the forges the internals, then 14-16 psi

What you want to know? I see some peeps are talking about a KB, are you wanting to run a KB? If so, you won't have the P51.
