Default Leaking Antifreeze

It all started when my heater core blew on my way home the other night from work. Leaked antifeeze all over my passenger side floor. So I have the heater core bypassed and now my problem is when the car is cold my car leaks about 1/2 gallon of antifreeze onto the passenger side header and onto the ground. When the car warms up the leaking stops. Any ideas of why it is leaking when its cold and not warm?

Can u see where its leaking? Half a gallon is a pretty big leak and I would think if the leak is that bad it should leak hot or cold.

I haven't been able to see exactly where it is coming from. It leaks on the backside on the engine onto the passenger header.

How did you bypass the heater core?

I took one of the hoses that goes in to the heater core and attached to the tube that feeds it back into the block.
