Default Metal cleaning/polishing question

I was looking to see if there is anyone on the boards, who works with metal or polishing and cleaning metal. I have a polished Kenne Bell, valve covers and intake tube that need some tlc. I used windex on the metal, and it left some spotting that I cannot seem to remove with the mothers polishing compound I have. I was hoping one of you guys ran into this problem, and found a great product that works without buffing.

I assume you're treating these parts while theyre still on the car so you like you said you cant really buff the parts.

Did you try never-dull?

All the parts are on the vehicle, so it does make it harder. Do most parts stores carry the never dull stuff?

I love short stories that have happy endings like this, I had no idea windex would cause any problems like this!?

hey neubstang - I passed you on Saturday by middleboro rotary last weekend I knew it was you after I passed you as I noticed your color and saw your DRs in the side mirror. We should catch up sometime this summer.

Going in for a retune with a new PMAS meter and Anderson power pipe soon

I tried the never dull on the top of my polished Kenne Bell and on my Moroso coolant overflow tank today, it improved it somewhat but there are still spots. The wadding got pretty black when wiping, I am going to try another pass on the surfaces tomorrow.

Yes that's how it works. After you apply it let it sit for a while and let it haze.
