This is not a DD, so stuff like cup holders, rear seats, a/c, radio, etc are getting pitched. To be honest, I'm really thinking of not replacing the console. It's beginning to be more of a hassle than it's worth. Really, it serves no real purpose other than to rest your arm and to cover the mechanical parts of the shifter and e-brake. For what I'm doing, it's pointless.

my center console was busted in half when i got my car and i picked one up from a buddy for REAL cheap. it had those busted clips where it mates to the radio bezel. i drilled new holes in it and then zip tied them together. it sounds really ghetto but you cant see them when its installed and it holds really well too....just a pain in the @ss to get off

I prefer tan but black will do because my interior is black/tan.

I called a ford stealership and they want 400 and somethin dollars for one. I laughed at the guy until I realized that he wasn't f'n with me.

Default **UPDATE**

So, I found a black center console from a 96 cobra on ebay. Paid 50 bucks for it and the guy lived close enough for me to pick it up to avoid shipping charges.
Here are some pics. My original consloe was tan, but my interior is black and tan. I also put my original tan console lid on the black console to try and stay with the black and tan theme. I think it looks decent but wanted to know what you guys think. I kept the black lid, just in case I decided to just keep it black.
