Installed UPR X-pipe, missing a part? Please help me out.
I have an 02 Mustang GT and I purchased a used UPR x-pipe to bolt up to my Magnaflow exhaust. I got it all installed and it has a bad leak where the manifold bolts to the x-pipe on the drivers side. There is no gasket on the drivers side. I pulled up UPR's site and they are showing a small adaptor (looks like a cup?) that should be in between because of the way the studs are. Does anyone know what this part is called? I can order it from UPR for $25 but it will take a week to get here, so I was hoping I could maybe call my local muffler shop or auto zone and see if they have it. Problem is, I don't know what to ask for. Winter is over and I really want to drive the car. :-) Thanks for the help!
Here is a link to UPR's site with a picture of the x pipe. The adaptor is in the picture as well.

i just had the same problem. solution is different studs on the manifold you need shorter ones. the spacer on the stock studs are too long. took mine to a muffler shop and got it fixed didnt want to spend another day in the driveway trying to get the studs out and replace them.
that adaptor is for the other end of the xpipe to connect to the catback

Thanks for the help! So I can call the muffler shop and ask them to basically make me another flange that I can put inside this one and bolt it up? I am assuming this x pipe is 2 1/2" outer diameter so i would need the flange from teh muffler shop to be 2 1/2" inner diameter so it fits inside?

Thanks again everyone for the replies. Special thanks to Cliffyk. I went to the muffler shop yesterday and within 5 minutes had the exact part that I needed, and it worked perfectly. My car sounds awesome, and I saved a little $.
