Kick out when stomp on accelerator
Guys,
I have a 03 mustang GT with a Procharger s/c installed. Whenever I stomp on the gas from a stop, the back end kicks out hard to the right and I immediately notice my alignment gets screwed and I drift to the left. The shop checked the shocks/struts and they checked out ok. What else could be the problem?
Please help!
thanks
Dave

yea just check all control arms, ball joints, and any bolts stc that has to do with the suspension.
if im understanding right, whenever the car gets torqued something is coming loose and out of alignment?

do yourself a favor, upgrade the rear suspension, new shocks, control arms, maybe consider getting a panhard bar + torque arm setup if your into any kind of "spirited" driving.
do you have aftermarket Control arms? i would upgrade those first. just be careful on what bushing type you get for the upper arms or you'll end up rippin metal due to the inherent nature of the upper arms to bind with solid/stiff bushings.
can you be more specific on whats coming out of alignment? maybe ask the shop what they adjusted? they might just be taking your money for something simple...
Jazzer has a post explaining how the rear suspesion works, i would suggest you read it, its lengthy, but a VERY worth while read. i would almost consider it mandatory for any die-hard mustang owner to read as to understand how the suspesion works.
