hi i have a 99 mustang gt and i was having a weird thing were id turn the key and then it would b like a breaker popped and there was no poer to anything and id wiggle the wires next to the battery and eventuly it would start now the radio and wiper wont work the radio has power but its acting like the car is off because if i hit the clock botton it shows the time ive checked all fuses and relays does anyone have any idea what might be going on

My car had a breakdown like that and a new alternator fixed everything.

I don't know if that is your case though because you said your battery cables weren't connecting well. Also test your battery.
