having trouble with my longtube headers and steering shaft
i'm in he process of doing a pi head sap on my 97 mustang i've got the heads installed and bolted down i've also got the passenger header bolted onto the head and the drivers side header is in place where it's supposed to go, but i can't ge the steering shaft through the header it's bolted off the steering box, but i'm having troulbe with the big end on the bottom of the steering shaft

take it apart in the middle instead and itll slide through.

if i remember correctly theres a locking bolt like a set screw in the middle of the shaft. Once you loosen that you can slide the shaft apart in 2 pieces.

yeah. it has a little rubber ring around it.
