Default just bought a new gt and i cant figure out what the rattle is

i just bought a 2000 gt 5 speed its got a bit of knocking shifting 1st-3rd it sounds like something is loose and rattleing anyone know of anything that could be a common part that could get loose or anyother suggestions

its also a bit worse right when it starts up once ive drivin around a bit it is a bit less noticable also the dealer i got it from had the car sitting in their showroom that they havent opened and when we went to look at it it was like 40 degrees in their and he said the cars been in their for about 5-6 weeks and hasent been started in that time its a 2000 with only 45000 miles so i dont know if that might have something to do with it

Could be Differential, I would have swore that my noise was coming from the Tranny. After they put it on the rack, it was the Rear end Fo Sho.

Could be a bad timing chain tensioner. The timing chain could be slapping around.

Wow, You bought the second to last Cobra ever made for that style? F'n Sweet! The very last will be on a Barrett Jackson Auction in the future I bet. Hold on to it, I heard the last 3 of any style/car always brings good money.
